This DIY mix is ideal for weeknight chili, slow cooker stews, taco meat, or anything that needs a little Southwestern flair. It’s budget-friendly, customizable, and stores beautifully for months!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp. Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp. Salt (We omit this as we salt to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Add all seasonings into a small bowl.
  • Mix everything together thoroughly to combine.

Notes

Use this seasoning mix in any chili recipe. You can double the batch and use 3 tablespoons of the seasoning per 1 pound of ground meat. Store the remaining mix in an airtight container for up to 6–8 months.
